Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Car2Hire platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license to rent a vehicle through Car2Hire. Additional age requirements may apply for certain vehicle categories.
3. Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability. Prices displayed include basic insurance unless stated otherwise. Choose pay on arrival or online payment during booking. Online payment via PayPal includes a 5% processing fee shown before payment. Additional charges (fuel, tolls, extras) are settled at drop-off.
4. Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a fee equal to one day's rental. No-shows are charged the full booking amount.
5. Vehicle Use
Vehicles must be used in accordance with local traffic laws. Off-road driving, cross-border travel without prior approval, and use by unauthorized drivers are prohibited.
6. Insurance & Liability
The refundable security deposit is USD 700 with basic cover. Basic collision damage waiver (CDW) is included. The renter is responsible for any damage not covered by insurance, including damage to tires, windshield, and undercarriage. Optional full coverage is available at checkout. No-deposit option (SCDW full cover): if you do not have a credit card or prefer not to have a deposit held, you can add the SCDW full coverage insurance — with it there is no excess, no deposit is held, and no credit card is required (for drivers aged 25 and above).
7. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. A refueling surcharge applies if the tank is not full upon return.
8. Limitation of Liability
Car2Hire acts as a marketplace connecting renters with suppliers. We are not liable for the condition of vehicles, supplier actions, or any indirect damages arising from use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amman.
